From M62 junction 21, take the A640 south (towards Shaw). Pass under the bridge, then
first right (Sun Chemical). Immediately after the security barrier, turn right into the car park.
Following major changes to the motorway junction, older maps may not be accurate.
Ignore Google’s directions to the “Motorway Works Unit”. The directions above are correct.

The Engine House is a few minutes’ walk from Milnrow and Newhey (New Hey) stations.
Milnrow and Newhey stations closed in 2009, but will re-open as
Metrolink
stations later this year (2012).
